All-inclusive and resort properties with activities for all ages and multigenerational groups.

Most resorts say they are good for families. Fewer are built for three generations arriving at once, which is a different problem: it needs a kids' club that runs long enough to matter, a teen space that is not an afterthought, and rooms that let everyone be together without being on top of each other. These are the ones that hold up. How easily each one can be reached is noted, because it is always the first question.

The clearest three-generation product anywhere on this page. Kids for All Seasons for ages five to twelve, a separate teen centre called The Container open until 10:30pm, four and five bedroom villas with their own pools and chef service, and Casa Tesoro, a seven-bedroom estate sleeping fourteen that exists specifically for family groups travelling together.
