Most travel content tells you a place is beautiful and then sends you to a booking form.
This is the other thing. Every Monday I take one trip, research it properly, and price the whole week line by line. Flights, rooms, tickets, food, the transfer nobody mentions. Then I tell you what it comes to and whether I think it is worth it.
Sometimes the answer is that it costs far less than you assumed. Sometimes it is that the version being sold to you is the expensive way to do it. Either way you get the number.
